Digital Playground’s Riley Steele to Appear on ‘Howard Stern’

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground contract star Riley Steele will appear on the “Howard Stern Show” tomorrow.

The show will air on Sirius XM channel 100 beginning at 6 a.m. EST with repeated shows all day.

The interview will also air on Howard TV on the On-Demand channel and on all Howard TV cable channels beginning Friday at midnight, EST for one month.

“I am bursting at the seams to meet and appear on Howard,” Steele said. “I have been a huge fan of his since I can remember! Being a guest on the show is truly a dream come true. Tune in, you won’t want to miss it!”

The crossover starlet will be appearing in both adult and mainstream films this year, such as “Pirana 3D” which hits theaters on Aug. 27, Digital Playground said. Her most recent Digital Playground feature, “Fly Girls,” was released on Feb. 16.

Former Digital Playground Exec Launches Marketing Firm

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground jumped on Apple’s iPad frenzy yesterday announcing that all of its High Definition content is compatible with the new product.

The company has been a member of the Apple Developer program for the last decade and specifically an iPhone developer since its inception. All Digital Playground iproperties automatically sense whether or not the user is using an iPhone, iTouch, or iPad and customize the experience on the fly. “Digital Playground users who purchase an iPad will note the seamless integration between the desktop, laptop, iPhone and iPad,” the company said.

Digital Playground video is shot exclusively on “RED” High Definition cameras. The company said that all videos and interactivity have been optimized for use on the iPad as well each device, including true HD streaming. Digital Playground offers this automatically on all company owned websites including digitalplayground.com and jessejane.com. iPad users will automatically get the HD experience while iPhone customers will get the standard definition videos optimized for that format.

“We use the true H.264 encoding platform. Jesse Jane to Launch Home-based Webcam Site

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground and Jesse Jane are getting ready to get up close and personal with her fans, with the premiere of a new home webcam site at JesseJane.com.

“We here at DigitalPlayground.com are ecstatic with Jesse’s new live show feature,” marketing director Niki Rane told XBIZ. “We believe that by interacting with her fans down to the granular level and providing them with the specific hardcore and lifestyle content that they want, Jesse is blazing a new trail for how porn star sites will be handled and marketed in the years to come.”

The company says the idea of a home-based live webcam was the result of a brainstorm meeting between Digital Playground founder Joone and Jane on how to best monetize her image and personality.

“I love my fans and I want to be more personal and available to them,” Jane told XBIZ. “Plus I love playing with myself, so why not.”

Digital Playground provides and manages all of Jane’s feature content to her website, which supplements Jane’s home sex tapes and live shows. The company also designed and engineered the site.

“I hope to make my fans happier, and to bring new people to my website,” Jane said.

Jane lives with her husband and son in Oklahoma City.

The live webcam on JesseJane.com should be up and running at the end of January.
